Stepinac came up with a fitting end to the most productive season in program history on Thursday, beating St. Mary’s 10-8 in what’s essentially the CSHAA’s state title game for its Class A schools. Andrew Murray led the host Crusaders with four goals. Tommy Keane came up with two goals while Dom Vallario and Chrystian Lopez each contributed a goal and an assist. Stepinac was comfortably ahead 10-5 after three quarters, but had to ride out some nervous moments before celebrating the championship. The Crusaders finished the season 16-7.
