Varsity Lacrosse beats Mount St Michael 14-3

 Stepinac Beats Mount to go improve season record to 2-1 & 1-0 in the CHSAA. They will take on St Dominick's on Thursday at 4:00 at Home.

Stepinac jumped out to a 2 goal lead  in the first quarter and increased the lead to 7-1 at halftime. The Crusaders scored an additional 7 goal in the second half on route to a 14-3 victory.
Alex Wilster had four assists and both Tyler Loughery and Shaun Hanlon had three goals with Hanlon adding an assit for Stepinac. Kevin McCarthy, Joe Telesco and Josh Powell each contributed two goals, with McCarthy adding two assists and Powell adding one assist.
Additional scoring came from Nick Schmidt and Dan Spies with one goal apiece. Jack Martinelli made five saves in the win.
Mount scoring was lead by Patrick McErany with a goal and an assist. Anthony Nuccio and Daniel Santos each had a goal and Carlos Nolan added an assist in the game.
